Overview

1-Second Cycle Time — Fastest in the Industry!

No more messing with gas, oil, and fumes. No more hydraulic fluid, hoses, cylinders, pumps, or valves that can leak. And no more waiting for a hydraulic cylinder to return to its “start” position. The G10 splitter uses clean, quiet, household current and stores kinetic energy in its two high-speed, 12.5-lb. flywheels to blast through logs as fast as you can load them. Here’s what makes it the fastest, most user-friendly compact splitter you can buy:

COMPACT DESIGN. At less than a foot wide and four feet long, this splitter easily stores under a workbench and transports in the trunk of your car!

POWERFUL. A powerful electric motor spins the unit’s two 12.5 lb. flywheels at 490 rpm. Stored energy is released in a rapid stroke (similar to a karate chop), to split the toughest logs in less than 1 second.

PROVEN FLYWHEEL AND RACK & PINION DESIGN utilized in automobile engines and steering for decades. With this splitter, stored energy from the flywheel is transferred to the rack (and to the log) via a massive, tool-hardened Pinion Gear.

PRACTICALLY MAINTENANCE FREE. No gas engine, no hydraulic pumps, fluid, pistons, or valves to leak or require replacement—ever.

TWIN FLYWHEELS weigh 12.5 pounds each. Together they create a 25-pound spinning mass that stores kinetic energy. When the lever is engaged, the ram fires the log at high speed into the cutting wedge. The log pops apart, and the ram auto-retracts...so it’s instantly ready for the next log.

2-YEAR WARRANTY on the complete machine (including the motor) for Homeowner Use. (90-Day Warranty for Commercial Use).

Ask a Question for This Product

Q.Can I use a 15 Amp outlet, or do I need 20 Amp?
A.Under a full load the G10 Wood Splitter motor draws 14 amps, so a 15 amp outlet will work. A good extension cord is important for maximum power and effective splitting. We recommend 12 gauge for a 25 ft cord, or 10 gauge for a 50 ft cord. Cords longer than 50 ft are not recommended.

Q.What is the tonnage rating?
A.The G10 wood splitter is a kinetic splitter, and is not measured in tonnage, as the cycle time of one second is too fast to accurately rate. It has been tested and can, side by side, out-split a 10 ton hydraulic wood splitter.

Q.Does the G10 Electric log splitter require 2 hand operation? If so where are the two points your hands are?
A.Yes it does. One hand lifts on the Safety Interlock Lever on the side in front of you and your other hand engages top lever.
